Rules of Engagement
By participating in the Himalayan HackRange, you agree to the following protocols.
Violations will result in immediate disqualification by the CyberSentinels.
🛡️ Fair Play & Ethics
- No Flag Sharing: Do not share flags or solutions with other teams. Collaboration is strictly internal to your team.
- One Account Per Person: Do not create multiple accounts to "test" flags.
- Be Respectful: Harassment or toxic behavior in the Discord/Chat will not be tolerated.
💀 The "Do Not Hack" List
You are authorized to attack the challenge files and designated ports ONLY. The following are strictly out of bounds:
- No DoS/DDoS: Do not attack the CTF infrastructure (Scoreboard, Azure VM, Registration page).
- No Brute-Forcing the Flag Submission: If the flag format is
HHR{...}, do not use automated tools to guess the text inside. - No Destructive Attacks: If you gain shell access, do not delete files or bring down the service for other players.
🏔️ Competition Format
- Flag Format: All flags follow the format
HHR{some_text_here}unless specified otherwise. - Scoring: Challenges use dynamic scoring. The more people solve a challenge, the fewer points it is worth.
- Decision is Final: In case of disputes, the decision of the CyberSentinels Admin Team is final.
